Why I Do What I Do
I enlisted in the Marine Corps at 26–the same age most Marines are getting out. I’d already started a few companies, gotten married, and realized I was running from something I couldn’t name.
The Marine Corps taught me that excellence isn’t about perfection–it’s about showing up, especially when it’s hard. Technology taught me that the best systems are built by people who understand the humans using them.
Today, I lead AI and defense technology initiatives for organizations that can’t afford systems that look good in demos but fail in the field. My value isn’t just technical expertise–it’s the integration of experiences that most technologists never have.
