Statement
Accessibility
This site is built to be read and used without a mouse. This page records what that means in practice, what was measured, and where it can still fail.
Standard
The target is WCAG 2.2 level AA. An automated sweep runs axe-core against every route in both themes at 1280 and 390 pixels wide, and the repository gate fails on a regression in heading order, alt text, empty links, control contrast or target size.
What is verified
- Every page has one main landmark, and every control has an accessible name.
- Every interactive element is reachable and operable with the keyboard.
- Focus is visible, and a fixed bar or banner never hides it.
- Colour contrast clears 4.5:1 for text and 3:1 for control boundaries, in both themes.
- Reduced-motion settings are honoured across the site.
- Text reflows at 320 pixels without horizontal scrolling.
- Content is in the served HTML, so it survives a failed script load.
Known limits
Three long reads carry interactive diagrams and an audio player. They are keyboard operable, but the diagrams are dense: if a screen reader struggles with one, the same argument is in the prose around it. The 108 archived notes predate this standard and are being brought over one at a time.
Report a barrier
